The story

I named this blog Whispers to Wildflowers because it reflects how I see life and parenting. Wildflowers are resilient. They grow in the most unexpected places, through cracks and in forgotten corners, and they still bloom beautifully. That’s how I see my children, and my hope is to whisper love and encouragement to them so they can bloom wherever life takes them.

The whispers are those quiet, steady reminders we all need. Sometimes it’s me telling myself to keep going when things feel impossible. Other times, it’s the way I talk to my children, reminding them they are loved, they are enough, and they can thrive no matter where they are planted. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about finding ways to grow, even when things feel messy. This blog is my creative space. It’s where I reflect, share what I’m learning, and try new things just to see where it takes me. I’m not here to be an expert. I’m just showing up, doing my best, and celebrating the little wins along the way.  Everything I share is based on my own experiences and the things that work for me, so take what helps and leave the rest.

Here, you’ll find honest reflections, parenting tips, practical tools like e-printables, and even some funny merch I’m working on. Whether you’re here to feel a little less alone, find something helpful, or just enjoy a story, welcome. Let’s keep whispering love and encouragement to ourselves and each other so we can all bloom in our own time.

About Me

Hi, I’m Clara. I’m a mum of two based in Singapore with a background in early childhood education. These days, my kids are my world, but sometimes it feels like I’m losing myself in the process. Between the never-ending to-do lists and the mum guilt that sneaks up on me, I often find myself feeling overstimulated and overwhelmed.

This blog is my way of finding an outlet—a space to talk about my life, break it down into smaller pieces, and reflect on it all. It’s also where I try to push myself out of my comfort zone, whether it’s trying a new restaurant, starting an art project, or creating resources to share. I’m not an expert, and I definitely don’t have all the answers, but I believe in the importance of trying and growing, even if I stumble along the way.

If you’re here to find helpful resources, laugh at some chaotic parenting tales, or enjoy my honest recommendations, I hope you find something that speaks to you. Please come drown with me—I’m lonely in Struggletown, and misery loves company. Let’s laugh, cry, and figure this out together 🤪✌🏻

Xoxo,
Clara
